Jenny Taylor first joined us in September 2017 and has slotted in perfectly to the VSP way of life.
The mum-of-two is organised, passionate and loves working with clients to ensure their business run smoothly.
We spoke with her to find out more about a day in the life of an accountant, as well as her top tips for business owners.
What sort of things do you do on a daily basis at VSP?
I love that I have a really varied role.
My specialism is personal tax, but I cover everything from running weekly and monthly payrolls, to processing tax returns and working on account preparation.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
It doesn’t feel like work!
I get to do the job I enjoy; Vicky and I have great clients, and we get to have a blast.
My job also gives me the flexibility to work around the school run – invaluable.
What about outside of work?
I have my hands full with my two little girls – mainly running them to swimming and dance lessons. But, I like going to the gym when I have the time. I am also a secret ice hockey fan – I go to games with my husband as much as we can.
We are also big Disney fans in our house!
If you could give one piece of advice to a business owner, what would it be?
